§ Mr. Shersbyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the risk of delay to processed food exports by the method of application of the new export procedures contained in schedule 7 to the Finance Act 1981, he will extend, at least until 31 December, the concessions that have been operating since October 1981.
§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyne[pursuant to his reply, 27 July 1982, c. 460]: I am considering a number of representations that I have received on this matter, including the question of the extension of the period of operation of the concessionary procedure. I shall write to my hon. Friend when I have reached a decision.
