§ Mr. Ernie Rossasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing a numerical and percentage classification for the unemployed in Dundee and Scotland indicating those (a) in receipt of unemployment benefit only, (b) in receipt of unemployment and supplementary benefit, (c) in receipt of supplementary benefit only and (d) in receipt of neither unemployment nor supplementary benefit.
§ Mr. NewtonThe table gives information for May 1982:
the education committee of the General Medical Council. The committee recently concluded, on the basis of enquiries it has made, that the present position with regard to undergraduate teaching in obstetrics in the United Kingdom is in general satisfactory.
Obstetrics is one of the seven specialties listed in the vocational training regulations, in two of which a doctor intending to enter general practice is required to spend at least six months to obtain a certificate of prescribed experience. We do not propose to make the requirement more restrictive.
