§ Mr. LawsonI have previously made known to the House my views on this issue. I have just received from 371W the inspector, Sir Frank Layfield QC, a letter setting out fully the arguments in favour of public funding advanced by objectors at the June pre-inquiry meeting. Sir Frank has asked me to consider these arguments; I shall of course do so and I shall send him a reply as soon as possible.
