§ Mr. Allan StewartAll convicted prisoners serving sentences in Scotland have been sentenced for offences against the ordinary criminal law. No prisoner in Scotland is serving a sentence for offences related directly to membership of the Irish Republican Army. All those in Scottish prisons serving determinate sentences of more than five days are eligible for remission of one-third of their sentences.
