§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Energy what has been the reason for the length of the delay in approving the project grant for the Friends of the Earth insulation project in the Kingstanding area of the Birmingham, Perry Barr constituency.
§ Mr. MellorThe project grant application submitted by Friends of the Earth in this case raised certain difficulties which have resulted in a delay. We aim to 375W resolve these as soon as possible. My Department has recently been in touch with FOE, which is fully aware of the problem.
