§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy, in view of the separation of Britoil from the British National Oil Corporation, whether it is contemplated that the British National Oil Corporation should trade in (a) crude oil derived from the North Sea under participation agreements, (b) royalty oil at the behest of Her Majesty's Government and (c) crude oil derived and purchased by the corporation from abroad.
§ Mr. GrayThe British National Oil Corporation will continue to trade in both participation and royalty oil after Britoil has been separated from it. Whether it will trade in foreign crude will depend upon circumstances.
