§ Mr. Edward Gardnerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the review of the law and practice of extradition.
§ Mr. WhitelawThe interdepartmental working party on the law and practice of extradition has now completed its report and this is being published today. Copies have been placed in the Library. Copies are also being sent for comments to individuals and organisations known to have an interest in the subject. Additional copies of the report can be obtained on request from Room 452, Home Office, Queen Anne's Gate, London, SW1H 9AT. The Government intend to consider what response to make to the working party's recommendations in the light of the comments that may be received about them.
