It comprises the cost of travel by Ministry of Defence aircraft, by commercial flights and by train where such transport was used. For all other travel, ministerial vehicles of the Government car service were used. However, transport for the Prime Minister and her immediate staff forms part of the normal duties of the Government car service and its use on visits by the Prime Minister therefore involves no significant additional cost to public funds.
