§ Mr. WakehamThe following table shows gross and net domestic fixed capital formation for the whole economy, the comparable measures for direct manufacturing investment, total investment in plant and machinery, and undistributed profits of industrial and commercial companies, all expressed as percentages of gross national product. The series run from 1970 to the latest years for which estimates are at present available.
Information on average earnings by SIC headings and for the whole economy are available monthly in the Department of Employment Gazette in table 5.3.
