§ Mr. Allan StewartThe post-enumeration survey of vacant and occupier absent properties suggests that there were some 15,500 known second homes in Scotland which were unoccupied at the time of the 1981 census. I have no reliable information about the number of second homes that were occupied at the time of the census.
