§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeElectricians and plumbers and their assistants were the only National Health Service group to settle within 4 per cent. Following my right hon. Friend's announcement in his statement to the House on 23 June—[Vol. 26, c. 299–304]—that additional resources had been made available to improve pay offers to Health Service staff, these negotiations were reopened and a revised agreement within 6 per cent. has now been reached.
