§ Mr. Adam ButlerThe commercial use of single-strand monofilament nets for the taking of salmon or trout has been banned since 1966 in the Foyle area. The Foyle Fisheries Commission is urgently considering introducing a similar ban on the use of the more recently developed multi-strand monofilament nets.
