§ Mr. BlakerThroughout the Falklands operation two warships, with afloat support, have continued to be available to come to the assistance of merchant shipping, if needed, in the Gulf of Oman. Since the end of May, this patrol has been carried out by a RN frigate and a RNZN frigate, HMNZS "Canterbury", under the full operational control of the Royal Navy.
