§ Mr. Altonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he wall consider proposals to refurbish St. Michael's railway station, Liverpool, in view of the extra demand which the Mersey festival will place upon it.
§ Mr. HeseltineThe possible need for alterations at St. Michael's station to meet the needs of the international garden festival of Liverpool is, with other transport arrangents, currently under discussion between the 411W Merseyside Development Corporation, British Rail and the Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive. Conclusions have not yet been reached.
