§ Mr. PriorThe main purpose of my short visit to Spain from 3 to 6 July was to attend the World Cup finals, particularly in view of the splendid progress being made in the competition by the Northern Ireland team, which is to be congratulated on reaching the quarter finals. But I also paid courtesy calls on His Majesty King Juan Carlos and on Sr. Perez-Llorca, the Spanish Foreign Minister. We had friendly, general discussions about matters of common interest to the United Kingdom and Spain.
