§ Mr. Alexander FletcherGood progress has been made towards the introduction of the Scottish certificate of education 0-grade examination in religious studies; the Scottish Examination Board published the syllabus for the course in June. Suitably staffed schools will be able to offer the course to third-year pupils in session 1982–83 and the first examination will be held in 1984.
