§ Mr. EyreThere has to date been no known case of death, injury or ill-health attributable to radioactive material in the course of movement by rail.
§ Mr. Crouchasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will take steps to compel drivers of vehicles carrying hazardous substances to use preferred routes.
§ Mr. EyreMost vehicles carrying hazardous goods keep to the primary route network so far as they reasonably can. Where particular problems arise, local authorities have adequate powers to restrict vehicles to the more suitable routes.
