§ Q55. Mr. Kenneth Carlisleasked the Prime Minister if Her Majesty's Government will take further steps to extend individual ownership of property and capital in all forms to as many United Kingdom citizens as possible.
§ The Prime MinisterWe have already done a good deal to encourage and extend individual ownership of property and capital. We intend to continue these efforts because we believe that a free society is founded on ownership of property and capital by as many people as possible.
