The varying circumstances of pre-school provision in other European Community countries make a comparison in tabular form impracticable. Total numbers of pupils receiving pre-school education in European Countries are given in the "Eurostat—Education and Training Statistics" and in the "Educational Statistics in OECD Member Countries", copies of which are also available in the Library.
