§ Mrs. ChalkerFollowing public consultation, the GLC wrote in April 1982 informing the Department that they did not accept the scheme. They also listed a number of detailed observatins on the scheme if it were to go ahead.
The council wrote again on 5 July withdrawing its objections to the scheme but continuing to press for amendments.
