§ 31. Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will make a statement on the performance and prospects of Rolls-Royce Ltd.
§ Mr. Norman LamontMy hon. Friend will be aware that the industry and trade committee has recently published a report on Rolls-Royce to which I will be responding in due course. In the meantime I can say that Rolls-Royce has made good progress in its efforts to improve all aspects of the company's business despite the continuing recession in the airline industry.
