Member for Caernarvon on 30 June, Official Report, c. 323, if he will give at the last date for which the information is available, the number of unskilled workers in Wales who are unemployed and whose last employment was in the building and construction industry.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThere are problems in allocating unemployed unskilled workers specifically to the construction industry. However, the most recent quarterly return including such workers gives for March 1982 a figure of about 5,000 persons occupationally classified as craftsmen's mates and other builders' labourers registered as unemployed.
