§ Mr. SproatI have placed in the Library of both Houses today a background paper which explains the present financial position of the aviation security fund and sets out revised estimates of income and expenditure up to 31 March 1983. Draft amendment regulations extending the present 40p reduction in the rate of the aviation security levy—from 1.50 to 1.10—from the end of August 1982 to the end of March 1983 are currently before Parliament.
