§ Sir Albert Costainasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he has approved the transfer of assets to Sealink Harbours Ltd.
§ Mr. David HowellYes, I have given my approval to schemes under section 2 of the Transport Act 1981 and section 7 of the Transport Act 1968 to transfer the harbour assets from Sealink United Kingdom Ltd. to its subsidiary company Sealink Harbours Ltd. The transfer will take place on 11 July. Harbours' staff will continue to be employed by the parent company, which will provide services for the harbours company.
