§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales on how many occasions and on what dates, he, or officers acting on his behalf, have had meetings with the Welsh water authority to seek to resolve the dispute concerning the level of charges for water obtained by English water authorities from Wales, which was referred to him in October 1981, under the provisions of the Water Acts 1945 and 1973.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsIt has been agreed with the parties that the decision of the Secretaries of State for the Environment and for Wales should be based upon the written representations of the parties to the dispute and no ex parte meetings with the Welsh water authority have been held to seek to resolve the dispute.
