§ Mr. David Youngasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish in the Official Report figures 50W on numbers of accidents on each motorway showing the number of injuries and number of fatalities, in each year, for each motorway since its construction.
§ Mrs. ChalkerFrom 1969 to 1971 accident details for each motorway and total casualties, were given in "Road Accidents Great Britain", copies of which are in the Library. From 1972 onwards, full details of casualties and accidents for the more important motorways were provided.
