§ Mr. Skinnerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will now withdraw his Department's questionnaire requiring disabled married women to prove they are unable to do housework in order to receive invalidity pension; and if he will make a statement;
(2) if he will seek to abolish the requirement that disabled married women must be incapable of work for 196 consecutive days spent in Great Britain before being eligible for invalidity pension; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RossiA review of the conditions of entitlement to non-contributory invalidity pension for married women is currently under way. It is expected to be finished shortly, and when it is the matter will be brought before the House.
