§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing for the world, less the European Economic Community Six, the balance of trade in September at an annual rate for (a) visible trade less oil and precious stones and (b) manufactures less precious stones.
§ Mr. Peter ReesThe figures are(a) a deficit of £2 billion for visible trade less crude oil and precious stones and (b) a surplus of £4.2 billion for manufactures less precious stones. However, these figures should be treated with some caution as monthly trade data can be quite variable.
