§ Mr. StanleyI have read the report with interest. Most of the proposals would require primary legislation and I shall want to consider these when we have up-to-date information on the condition of the housing stock from the English house condition survey later this year. Among the non-legislative proposals I very much endorse the call for closer co-operation in different ways between building societies, housing associations, residents and local authorities in area improvement programmes.
