I am arranging for a list to be printed in theOfficial Report. It describes 441 non-departmental public bodies that have already been abolished or reduced and 109 more that are scheduled for abolition or reduction by April 1984. Changes affecting the nationalised industries' boards are also noted.

We shall continue to pursue the scheduled abolitions and will keep other bodies under review.
