§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will cause an investigation to be made into the publication in the press and on the radio of details of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission's report into matters connected with the proposed takeover of the Royal Bank of Scotland by either the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation or the Standard Chartered Bank before the report had been laid before this House.
