§ Mr. HeseltineYes. Some 128 acres of marshland at Brightlingsea in Essex have been accepted under these arrangements. The land has been transferred to Essex county council and will be managed by the Nature Conservancy Council as a nature reserve. The net cost was £60, 955, and this was borne equally on the Vote of my Department and that of the Department of Education and Science (Office of Arts and Libraries).
