§ 26. Mr. John Townendasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether, in view of the continuing rise in unemployment, especially male unemployment, he will consider classifying the Bridlington travel-to-work area as a development area.
§ Mr. MacGregorThe Government are, of course, concerned about the rise in unemployment in Bridlington, but taking into account all the relevant factors it would not be appropriate to alter the grading of Bridlington as an intermediate area at the present time.
