§ Dr. VaughanThis information is not readily available in the Department. Information on consultant vacancies in individual hospitals is held by the health authorities concerned. The filling of vacant professorships in London is a matter for the University of London. Waiting lists and times are affected by a wide range of variables and any generalised comment would not necessarily apply to a particular hospital. The hon.
