§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Lord Privy Seal if Her Majesty's Government support the proposal for a University of Peace made to the General Assembly of the United Nations by President Rodrigo Carazo of Costa Rica.
§ Mr. HurdWe joined in the General Assembly's endorsement of this proposal. We are, however, not able to make a financial contribution and have accordingly refrained from signing the international agreement establishing the university.
