§ Mr. Goldingasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will ensure that when claims for industrial injuries benefit are received from youth opportunities programme trainees and disallowed, the Manpower Services Commission is informed so that it can, where appropriate, make an ex-gratia payment.
§ Mr. RossiIt is already our practice to advise trainees who claim industrial injury benefits to approach the Manpower Services Commission through the appropriate person at the training establishment.
