HC Deb 18 January 1982 vol 16 c43W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether his Department is considering further measures to improve the income available to disabled persons.

Mr. Rossi

The Government have made regular increases in social security benefits for disabled people. It will not however be possible to consider more substantial improvements in the benefit system until the economy has recovered.
