HC Deb 18 January 1982 vol 16 cc3-4W
Mr. Temple-Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement on the comments he has received on the recommendations of the Manpower Services Commission about the quota scheme for the employment of disabled people.

Mr. Alison

The Government have now received the views of a range of interested organisations and individuals on the MSC's proposals. We are anxious to give full consideration to the points which have been raised. This is bound to take a little time, but my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State, will make a further statement as soon as practicable.
