§ Mr. MayhewA prison governor may open all post to or from a prisoner, but under prison rule 37A(1) correspondence between a prisoner who is a party to any legal proceedings and his legal adviser may not be read unless the governor has reason to suppose that it contains matter not relating to the proceedings.
