§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will set up negotiations with private health interests with a view to obtaining a financial contribution from them towards the training of nurses.
§ Dr. VaughanThe private sector does contribute to the training of nurses and, over time, we think it should be planning to do more. We have discussed with its representatives several possibilities, including financial contributions to NHS training.
