asked Her majesty's Government:

Whether they will state the total number of teachers at present registered as unemployed in Northern Ireland; and what are the numbers unemployed in each of the following categories: (a) primary (b) secondary, (c) grammar, and (d) technical.

At 10th December 1981, there were 1,212 unemployed teachers in the following categories:
