Mr. Rooker

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Birmingham,

Perry Barr, Official Report, 9 February, c. 324–6, he will rework the figures in part (a) of his answer on the assumption that the allowances had been raised for 1981–82 on the basis of the change in retail prices between December 1979 and December 1980.
