No estimate can be made of the numbers of claimants who will cease to be entitled to supplementary benefit following the revised guidance on the interpretation of Regulation 7(2) of the Supplementary Benefit (Conditions of Entitlement) Regulations 1981 to be issued shortly by the Chief Supplementary Benefits Officer.
