§ Mr. Giles ShawMy Department has published these results in pollution report No. 11—"The Glasgow Duplicate Diet Study (1979–80)"—today. The report details the outcome of a study carried out for us in Glasgow by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, assisted by a study group chaired by an officer of the Greater Glasgow health board. I am arranging for copies to be placed in the Libraries of both Houses. I am grateful to the study group for its work, which has made a significant contribution to our knowledge in this area; but the Government's special thanks go to the mothers who volunteered to take part with their babies at a time when they had so many other calls on their time and energies.
