§ Mr. Giles ShawA detailed response to the Royal Commission's recommendations was given by the Government of the day in the White Paper, "Nuclear Power and the Environment", in May 1977, Cmnd. 6820, and the bulk of them were accepted. Some matters were reserved for further consideration and will be covered in the White Paper that we are to publish on radioactive waste management.
