§ Mr. Wyn RobertsDuring the third quarter of 1')81 the average selling price of a council dwelling was £8,200, and the average construction cost of a new council dwelling was £22,400.
§ Mr. Andersonasked the Secretary of State for Wales by what percentage figure unrebated council house rents increased in Wales from 1980–81 to 1981–82; and by what percentage figure Government subsidies fell in cash terms over the same period.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsIt is estimated that average unrebated council house rents in Wales for 1981–82 will increase by 41 per cent. compared with 1980–81, and that central Government subsidies to local authorities' housing revenue accounts will fall by 43 per cent. between the 2 years.
