§ Mrs. ChalkerUnemployed people who receive a payment from the redundancy fund to compensate for an insolvent employer's failure to give statutory notice can receive up to 312 days benefit if they remain unemployed as long, starting with the first day of unemployment. The redundancy fund payment is, however, reduced by the amount of any unemployment benefit paid for the period to which the payment relates.
