§ Mrs. ChalkerI regret that information is not available in the form requested. The latest estimates of the numbers benefiting from family income supplement relate to 27 October 1981. It is estimated that, on that date, some 90,000 families in receipt of FIS had about 200,000 children of school age. The corresponding estimates on 28 October 1980 were 63,000 families and 142,000 children.
