§ Mr. Bruce-GardyneSince the end of February 1981 four applications have been made by members of building societies seeking access to the register under section 63 of the Building Societies Act 1962. Three societies were involved, namely, the Kingston Building Society, the Liverpool Building Society and the Anglia Building Society. A direction was refused in the case of the474W application in respect of the Kingston Building Society, but in the other three cases directions were given. Since the decisions and directions are lengthy, I shall send copies of them to the hon. Member and further copies will be made available in the Library.
