§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyne[pursuant to his reply,10 February 1982, c. 389]: My right hon. and learned Friend received written representations from the Brewers' Society about the effect of duty increases on the brewing industry. These have been discussed at a meeting with representatives of the Brewers' Society who were assured that the points made in the representations would be taken into account in the framing of the forthcoming Budget.
